Help with finding cheap flights, plaese

Hi there

I'm trying to find the cheapest places to visit in the October half term (it adds up when buying multiple tickets for a family!) where I might still enjoy a bit of sunshine - places such as the Algarve, southern Spain, the Canary Islands, the Greek islands, Turkey, Morocco, etc.

I am based in South Cumbria so preferred airports to fly out of would be Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds Bradford.

My preferred dates are 20-27 October, but could do a day either side on each of these (ie. 19-26 or 21-28 also possible).

I have tried the MSE flight searcher tool, but don't seem to be having much luck with it.

Can anyone please help or suggest any particular websites that might allow me to do some kind of broad search like this?

Thanks.

You could try Skyscanner http://www.skyscanner.net/ although you'd need to cycle though each of your preferred UK airports to "Everywhere" (and choose whole month October).

If it isn't half term in Glasgow, look at flights from Glasgow airports.

I had a panic there(daughter going away with her Dad in Oct) so I checked. Acording to the Cumbria CC website the half term holiday is the week after. Is your school different for some reason?

We have booked for Fuerteventura on oct 13th to the 24th from Manchester with a good hotel...£1200 for the three of us...good flight times as well..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
