as previous answer you dont NEED to keep them after they have expired,but they can be useful to keep to help you sell your car.When you come to sell the new purchaser might be interested to see that the mileage at annual intervals it all helps0

Its a good way to prove to potential buyers that the mileage is genuine and that it all tallies up over the years.
