My search in "title and description"gone

Had real problems on ebay yesterday. Every page had to be "recovered" by IE or just stopped loading. Avira kept warning of Tr/Graftor thingy whilst on ebay. Took hours of restore/malware to get rid of 21 dodgy malware/virus.
Now my sign-in page has changed & the box for Title and Description search has gone missing. I thought I'd been hijacked at first, bit worrying as ebay hasn't sent any notifications. Is it just me?

Have you tried using a different browser? My ebay looks fine in Firefox, though I only get the "include description" tickbox after I've done a search, not on the sign-in page.
And given your various problems, have you considered using a different operating system?0 -
I use both IE (selling account/forums) and Firefox (buying account) and Firefox in general is a lot better with eBay than IE. I think it might be an interaction between the site and the browser though as I find it less troublesome on other sites - though by no means trouble-free.
eBay was a glitchfest at the weekend, but it has improved a bit over the last few days or so."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Search title and description has been randomly appearing and disappearing for the last 2 weeks now. Seems to have zero to do with which browser your using, wether your signed in or not or if the wind is blowing from the south or east.
Only thing I do know is it's a right effin pain.0 -
I'll be out of comfort zone without IE but will try firefox on my netbook. Effin pain for sure greeneye.
I still believe it was an ebay problem & IE stopped me from being taken to an another site.0 -
eBay has been completely glitchy for me for days and I have posted about my problems on another thread. Even now I can only use one account per browser to sell and even then the sell page goes completely Barmy and becomes unusableI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Tried Firefox on my netbook & it's running like old. I have not removed cookies/clean-up yet,I suspect it may wipeout the bits I want to keep when I do.
On the IE desktop computer, it is not displaying the Ebay.co.uk like it used to, so be sure to check it out before you spend time doing listings incase it's on the international site(USA) & not the UK(done that before.Doh)
Thanks again you guys.0
