Startup Marketing

Hey guys!
Have just started up my own internet based company that basically collates all of the gambling offers into one place and shows the best offers (even if you are already signed up or a new customer).
Being a gambling website, I cannot take use of Google Adwords as they have strict policies on that sort of thing. So instead, I'd like to stir up more traffic by other forms of advertising (and hopefully in turn get more sales).
With an already quite successful YouTube channel, I have used that to create a small amount of traffic and have ensured the site is being rolled out on to search engines. I have looked into doing a email newsletter, leaflets and even business cards to send door to door! What would the best form of marketing be for a small website that isn't too expensive?
Much Appreciated.:A

    Hi waterhouse_melons

This is a niche that I'm very familiar with and have a few websites in the sports and free bets arena. This will probably sound quite dumb, but have you optimised your site for your main keyword phrase.

Title Tags | Main Description of Site

You'd be amazed at the amount of folk who don't even have the relevant keywords in those areas and wonder why they don't rank well for natural searches with Google.

You already seem to have a successful visual representation of your site via You Tube which is excellent. You could try and create relevant backlinks with similar websites and bookmark your site with directories like Pinterest. I assume from what you have already said that you have an sign in form on your site, if not then there are two options the paid and free method. The paid method is always better, as you can personalise your information and also automate the process with companies like Aweber or you can use the free method which requires more graft using a business like emailmeform.com. They allow up to five URLs and 200 submissions a month for free.

Thanks for your help but what do you mean by this part? My site is open to any user and does not require a log in page.
As for titles and SEO stuff, I have tried to fix the parts I think were wrong but not 100% sure if the titles and H1 tags worked (I'm using iWeb to create the site rather than coding). If you want to see the site, just ask and I can PM you it.

I don't sell any products, but instead work with affiliate programs to generate money.

    Hi waterhouse_melons

If it's the optimisation part your questioning then, what I mean is that you should have the main two or three keyword phrases in your title tags and also mentioned in your website description, so Google and the other main searches engines can give these words the importance you've placed upon them.

    Example

    Casino Website - <title>Casino Offers | Online Casino Offers</title>

Free Bets Website - <title>Free Bet Offers | Betting Bonuses</title>

Betting Reviews Website - <title>Online Betting Reviews | Latest Betting Reviews</title>

These are just examples of title tags that you could have for the relevant type of website and are the kind of phrases that, people are likely to type in to Google to find a relevant site, although you should always check the competition using a keyword tool prior to making a decision on the best keyword phrase(s) to use based on the competition.

    Mark :)
