Does anyone know what to do with pinecones.... Craft wise???
I'm thinking for Christmas.... I've collected a load out of our garden, I've cleaned then and dried them, now I'm thinking pot purri maybe?
Maybe there's something more adventurous I could do?
Anyone else do things with them?

I did exactly as tanith suggested over 12 years ago (when money was so tight I made our Xmas tree star out of a cereal box and some tin foil). We still have them. I have now added some twine to them so I can tie them on to the tree or join together to make a table decoration; otherwise they can sit on shelves and just look very festive. For a bit of extra sparkle sprinkle them with glitter while the paint is still wet.0
