Supremeoglaze BEWARE DO NOT USE!

Just a word of warning this is the WORST company ever. My 61 year old nan was qwanting to get her windows done and thought she was in luck when one day she was 'COLD CALLED' supremeoglaze she set up a visit and within days a guy turned up at her door. My nan was in the house on her own and the guy was putting pressure on her to sign the contract. He quoted her a whopping £18k for the whole house to be done when i had been previously quoted by channel glazing £1,800 where the hell did they get off charging my nan so much.
Basically after long and lengthy conversation with me we managed to cancel the whole thing. They phoned her around 20 times that day dropping the price to £9,000 from £18k which just goes to show how much they are over charging! They told her the door was already made ( juat two days after the meeting, even though the door was the last thing to be made.) My nan's son then rang them up and said if they continue these bully boy tactics then we will be phoning the police! I later wrote a letter of complaint which they have not replied to. Since then i have written several complaints which as expected were not replied to either. They are the worst company ever. I can't contact them as none of there contact us, phone numbers or e-mails are responded to.

STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!

I have read several other reviews on this company and they are all exactly the same as my experience.

I hate the thought of these big companies pressuring the old and the elderly she only has a pension and they were forcing her to get a loan! It's really disgusting! I've always got my nans back where this sort of thing is concerned!

  • Don't under any circumstances use this company. They took a £400 deposit off me for some roof work, but I cancelled the contract within the 7 days as they had measured the house completely wrong. When I queried it they agreed the measurements were wrong and doubled the price. It has now been 2 months and I still can't get my deposit back it is always another 2 weeks. Stay well clear.

when i was 16 i worked as a 'cold caller' and hated it, but it was easy money.
thing is, i remember once, there was this old lady who seemed really sweet an was actually interested in a new kitchen but i could tell it was only interest as she wasnt actually after one. more curiosity.
thing is, a week later i found out it had sold and i felt really bad, cos although i dont know how the pressure side of it all works (all i had to do was find people that would like more info) but i figure she had to have been pressured into it.
i still feel a bit bad to this day...i just hope she's enjoying her kitchen

Sand a letter giving them 14 days to pay up or you will start legal proceeding against them. Usually gets them running.
  • Supremeoglaze are driving my mother who is 72 up the wall. She foolishly phoned them asking for a quote to replace 4 windows on their buy one get one free offer. They originally quoted her £12,500 for four windows, with the offer it would be £6,250. Luckily my husband & I were visiting and laughed. She told the salesman to be serious I'm an old age pensioner. The salesman asked what she thought was a reasonable price, her reply £2,750 -So he "phoned" his office and got the OK (some mark up eh £12,500 down to £2,750) but she thought she'd got a good deal, so had the windows replaced in Feb 07, and since then they are continually phoning up trying to sell her more.

What's p***ing me off they phone at least once a month and always ask for my father who passed away in 1999, even though all of their paperwork is in my mothers name.

She started off being very polite telling them no thanks I don't want any further work done, and please take me off of your calling list. Now she is going to send them a solicitors letter for harassment and upset.
