Plumber of Gas Engineer to replace and install new radiator?

Potentially a foolish question :o

I need to replace a radiator in my hall. I'd also like to install a radiator in my lounge which is directly next to the hallway. Can a plumber do this or do I need to look for a gas engineer?

Many thanks in advance

If it has been a while since your last boiler service or it's nearly due, perhaps a gas engineer would be the best choice as you can get both done at the same time and only pay the call out once?

Look for a plumber who is GasSafe registered so understands about boilers.

They will attach your new radiators and also if necessary do any work on your boiler if needed.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

Thanks so much for your replies. A plumber it is then - my boiler gets serviced annually and it's due for another 10 months or so.
  • the clue is in the name unless your rads are filled with gas :D
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.
