Bellway part exchange fell through

Having agreed to go through a part exchange deal with Bellway Homes, they pulled out of the deal one day prior to completion (exchange & completion on same day) My house was boxed up , removers booked and redirection of post in place etc. Even had the new house induction. Their reasons was because this was the recommendation by their solicitors based on my answers to a seller information form that Id provided 3 weeks earlier. Business risk considered high because of a previous incident with the neighbour involving the police. No explanation for why the solicitors were so late with their response.
They have now asked me to trust them to sell the property via their express mover scheme whilst sticking by the agreed part exchange price. Though the condition is that this must happen by end of September.
Has anyone had any similar difficulties. Is there anything I could do ?

Having a similar problem with Bellway. Paid reservation fee. Agreed exchange. Paid for bespoke additions. Cost me nearly £10,000. Just before exchange Bellway dropped the part exchange. Told me to deal direct with Moving Made Easy and the buyer. Have been forced to swallow a hefty reduction and still no exchange. I feel like they are stalling me as they don't even answer simple questions from my solicitors. If I have to pull the deal, will they keep my money. Is this legal? Can I get my money back if I want? Never hear anything about the exchange, and tell me things and then the day ends and nothing. Will advise if get into my house... not an easy move at all.0
