Good Morning,
I ordered a large item off of ebay on the 31st July. I was told by the seller that it was sent on the 10th Aug by parcelforce.
Ive not received it yet, Ive checked with my neighbours etc. I was wondering what my options are now ?
Im trying to contact the seller to see what posting method he used. from parcelforce
But, just in case, if I want to try and reclaim my money do I need to go through ebay or paypal / what are the steps that I need to go through
thanks

Wait and see what the seller says. You have 45 days to start a dispute, so plenty of time.
Use the advanced tab and get the sellers telephone number, give them a call.0 -
It has been a while since payment, did seller offer any excuse about the original delay in sending?
Personally I would make an attempt to contact seller, if that doesn't work open a full INR in paypal this weekend.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. the seller was going to get a friend to deliver it whilst on business around where I live but I was at work and unable to leave whilst his friend was in the area.
Do you suggest I go through Paypal rather than ebay ? Can a INR only be logged through Paypal0 -
Hang on, was it sent parcel force or personal delivery?
If the first, ask the seller for tracking.
If the second, then ask the seller to either re-send via a normal method, or refund.
Give them a chance to respond before opening a case.0 -
I paid for it to be posted.
The seller then contacted me and asked if his mate could drop it off when he was passing through my area. ( He said the postage money I paid would be given to his mate as petrol money for detouring to drop off the item)
I agreeded to this if he gave me reasonable notice to when this was happening so I could make sure that I was home from work. The notice he gave was too short so he agreeded to send the item via parcelforce on fri 10th Aug
Still no item though. Ive contacted the seller to see what service option he has used with parcelforce.0 -
Ah, ok! When did you contact the seller last?0

I've had the same problem. Assuming no joy with the seller, open a dispute with Paypal. You start out as a dispute and then can escalate to a claim, if necessary.0

Yesterday, I sent an email asking what parcelforce option was used for delivery.0
