Hey smarties, good to see you back with a new shiny diary.

Sorry to hear things are rocky with OH,hope you manage to sort things out.

Good Luck with your new business venture.

I think its a good idea to start tackling your debt one at a time, what about starting with Next or cap 1, low amounts and it will keep you motivated if you manage to clear quickly.

    I'm off to subscribe.

I cook from scratch most days - a slow cooker (and a big freezer) are your friends.

I cook huge pots of mince based sauces in the slow cooker that can be frozen then I use them for bologna sauce, shepherds pie, chilli, lasagne etc ....

I did have a slow cooker, that was unopened and in my cupboard for about a year :( I then gave it to my mum. I might ask her, if she uses it and if not - possibly i can have it back.

Hi smarties, thanks for stopping by my diary! I'd definitely advocate asking for the slow cooker back, it makes a major difference to a busy Mummy! Failing this, try to batch cook on your day off and freeze into portions which can be taken out of the freezer the night/morning before and ready to heat up when you get home.

My partner and i have been up and down for a couple of years, i love him dearly i really do. A couple of weeks ago he moved out and is staying with family. We are still together we havent split up but i feel lost without him here every night. He comes over every night after work for two hours, till the kids go to bed, then he goes to family members at about 7.30pm, then im on my own all night. He comes here on a Saturday and looks after the kids whilst i work. Then tomorrow i think we ll be seeing him and we are going on holiday on Tues for 3 days - my dad paid more than half of this - bless him. We have been gettin on a lot better and no rows, he has said he will come back but im not sure when. As much i hate the situation, it has made me think omg you rowed and over reacted over so many things we didnt have too. Its made me realise, i do love him so much and i dont wanna be without him so i hope we can work this out.

I'm sorry to hear you and DP have been rocky, but there seem to be lots of positives here too. It's definitely a case of 'you don't know what it's got til it's gone'. Perhaps you could use the neutral ground of your holiday destination to talk through your issues. If you both know what upsets/irritates/annoys each other then you can try to avoid this and the little arguments might not crop up so often. You have obviously had lots of stress with new babies and new businesses so it's understandable that something had to give.

My lo eats all veg, I offered it on every plate and he had to eat none piece of it at - over time he started eating more. That aside I cook for work (for kids) so everything I cook has grated carrot celery/mushrooms chopped so fine u can't see them when it's cooked, normally a handful of lentils.
u could try grated parsnip too

Try diff veg - my son first preferred raw trees (broccoli) before the cooked stuff. He adores stir fry. Didn't like sweet corn at first but loved corn on the cob - now he picks the veg when we shop and he normally picks things like cauliflower (clouds) and cabbage.

Glad to hear the "break" is working / sometimes it needs something like this to realise what you have.

If yr mum hasn't got the slow cooker any,ore ask on free cycle.

Baking - I can bake but it's just habit. Try doing a search on here on here for Twinks Hob Nobs - u will never buy shop bought ones again, so easy, quick and heap. Try flapjack, put some mixed fruit, chopped cherries in for more fruit.

Can't do links on my iPad sorry x
