1. The prize draw is open to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales only), aged 18 or over, excluding employees and immediate families of the promoter, Diageo Great Britain Limited, Coca-Cola Enterprises or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. Entries open on 16th July 2012 until 9th September 2012.
3. Maximum of one entry per person, per day for the duration of the promotion. Additional entries may still be charged.
4. No purchase necessary.
5. TO ENTER: text TAXI1 followed by your name to 60040. They keyword will range from TAXI1 to TAXI7 depending on which region the entrant lives in. The relevant keyword will be communicated in Greene King Pub’s pubs.
6. Participants may be charged for the text message by their mobile phone operator. The cost of the text message as an entry text is charged at standard network rate and may not be included in text inclusive packages. Please check with your mobile service provider for more details. There will be no charge for return confirmation text.
7. Customers can also enter by scanning a QR code displayed on various promotional material and visiting a web page to enter the prize draw.
8. THE PRIZE: A £500 credit with a local taxi company. There are 16 prizes to be won.
9. Each taxi journey must be no more than a 25 mile round trip from the winner’s home. An account will be set up with the winner’s local reliable and reputable taxi service for up to the maximum value of £500.00 for the year. Available in England, Scotland and Wales only.
10. 16 x winners will be selected at random from all valid text and web entries received during the promotional period, in a draw conducted by independent adjudicators within 5 working days of the closing date.
11. The winners will be contacted by text and subsequently by telephone within 14 working days of the close of the promotion. If a winner fails to respond within 28 days from the date of notification they will forfeit their prize and the Promoter may randomly select another winner from the entries and award them with the prize.
12. No responsibility can be taken for notifications or claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending a text will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
13. Incomplete entries or those not submitted in accordance with the entry instructions are invalid but may still be charged.
14. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the loss of entries due to technical issues.
15. No cash or other prize alternative is available and the prize will only be awarded to the winner. Diageo reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable for reasons beyond its control.
16. The prize winners may be required to take part in unpaid reasonable publicity relating to this promotion.
17. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss and/or personal injury suffered by or to the winner and/or any of his/her friends that occurs as a result of the winner’s and/or his/her friends’ participation in the prize.
