Is this right? Child Benefit?

Hello, I have just used the entitled to website which stated that the child benefit we could receive for our two children 12 and 9 is £33.70 per week. We have been receiving £31.10 per week for as long as I can remember. It's paid into our account monthly. I thought child benefit rates were frozen? Does anyone know the current rates? Many thanks.

Hi according to the HMRC the current rates are:

Eldest child - £20.30
Other children - £13.40

Obviously that adds up to £33.70

My son is all grown up now so I'm not in receipt of CB but these figure came from the website http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/rates/taxcredits.htm#5 so it might be worth giving CB a call tomorrow.

Oh I found another page with the same rates as HMRC on the DirectGov.

CB is paid 4 weekly. Are you sure you have done your maths right.
What is your actual payment ?

My daughter gets hers weekly, I remember on a form she filled in she had the choice of weekly or 4 weekly and she chose weekly
