i havent said anything about people with autism , what i did say is why is he being written off ..(perhaps this is not the best choice of words but i cannot think of an alternative) why is their is an asusmption that he would not be able to do any work of any kind?

I am sorry , i am not having a dig at you and i don't mean to come off as offensive thought i seem to have now gotten myself into that hole now.
I understand its difficult and i do know about autistic specturm disorders (from personal experience) i do find people are often too quick to assume they cannot do anything hence what i was saying however now you have explained your childs condition then it explains why perhaps getting a job may not be suitable and i appreciate that.

Why do you KEEP assuming he can. Most of the posts on here are from people who have direct knowledge of autism, but you seem to think you know more than we do.
Have you some inside knowledge you are not sharing with us, or are you just making it up as you go along.
