Yep, 19mth old laptop - hard drive dies of death.
Call costco consierge service, picked up the next day, returned a week later with new harddrive, complete rebuild and the old HD for us to try and recover data off.
Fantastic service and very friendly, knowledgable agents to go with it.

They are brilliant about returns or sorting out faulty items. Really worth using them for electrical items for that reason alone and even better when you consider that the prices are usually quite good.
I'm seriously considering getting a membership again but I think the nearest one is just that little bit too far away to justify the savings I'd make
