Homebase disappointing service

My partner and I bought a table & 4 chairs from Homebase. We paid £300 for them on 8th June. Brief overview of purchase: We waited 68 days for a 19 day delivery, waited in at home 3 times for it without it turning up, waited 45 minutes on their helpline only to be told there's nothing they can do and we'd have to wait a week for someone to call us back, had the order rescheduled at the last minute and once not at all (and we weren't told that it had not been rescheduled). We also waited in all afternoon for the manager to call us back once we had got hold of someone from senior management. He didn't call us back...In the end, we were offered a £50 voucher which we negotiated (hard) to money back to a value of £60 (20% off our total purchase). Despite informing them that we can regularly get 20% off purchases just by signing up online or walking into a store and being reasonable and patient with them, they were unwilling to budge. We are extremely disappointed and somewhat insulted with this service, the delivery and the customer service.
Has anyone had any similar experiences with Homebase? Are there other ways to go in order to get any more money back as we feel that this is unsatisfactory after the many inconveniences this has caused us and time it has wasted?

In a nutshell, yes we had similar issues with late delivery, rude staff and poor after sales... saying that we did eventualy get all of our stuff delivered but since then I have never gone back.0
