Clean the laptop....

I want to clean my laptop so it's back to how it was when I bought it. Ie remove everything (don't need the data on it).

I have the 'recovery discs' but don't know what to do - sorry!

It's a Toshiba Satellite and is running Vista.

If anyone could start me off, it would be great.

There are a couple of ways to do this.
If the discs are set up to autorun, simply put the first disc in the DVD drive and it should start up then you simply follow the prompts given.

If the DVD isn't autoplay, simply put disc one in the DVD drive and turn the laptop off.
Press and hold the "C" key and restart the computer.
This should cause the laptop to default to the DVD when booting up, and again, simply follow whatever prompts are given.

Before you do this, make sure that you have the installation discs for any programs that you intend putting back on.
