Confirmation of deductions of CTC

Please can anyone confirm if we should receive a letter to confirm overpayments are now being made in regards of Child Tax Credits?

I am asking because on Monday of this week, I received a letter to state there is an overpayment, but they will not be deducted as yet until receiving further info.
And the payments for now until further notice will be £104 a week.

However, on checking they paid £90.
Tried and tried to get through by ringing many times, but the line goes dead after a good while, I have to keep charging my house phone lol.

On saying that, the letter I did not receive from them until Monday was dated 03 August, so they either delayed in sending it or its the post, and maybe another letter have been sent.

Thank you.
