Mind if i join in? Need to get my grocery budget in hand so starting this week with a meal plan, and must sign up again to the grocery challenge.
Mon - Lasagne
Tues - BBQ chicken and Rice
Wed - Cottage Pie with Cabbage and Peas
Thur - Sausage, Mash, Peas and Carrots
Fri - Pasta Bake (Homepride jar in cupboard)
Sat - Eggs, Chips and Beans
Sun - Freezer surprise
Have already done some baking at the weekend. Made a Victoria sponge and banana muffins for OH's lunchbox. Things already mucked up! First meatballs were absolutely devoured, then yesterday we ran out of gas
so we ordered in a pizza.
This week is looking like:
Tonight: out as old friend was in town
Sunday: Meatballs and batch cooked pasta sauce
Monday: naughty ordered in pizza
Tuesday: pumpkin soup and eggplant parmesean with l/o sauce
Wednesday: leftovers from Tuesday
Thursday: Pumpkin lasagne

Sorry for the slow response.I do grow my own courgettes / marrows but they've been a bit slow to get going this year (my first ones are still a week or so off edible size even as courgettes
) so this one came from my veg box. The sausages are lovely - I got them from a New Forest-based company at a food festival a few weeks ago, and I wish I'd bought a couple of packs now as I don't suppose I'll be able to get them again any time soon.
I've done a bit of a shuffle around of meals (scampi last night, marrow lasagne tonight, etc) but otherwise I'm sticking to my plan. (All the right meals, just not necessarily in the right order, to mangle a favourite quote!)
