How do you food compost in the winter?

You won't really have garden waste to add to the food waste?

Comments

  • And you don't need it - there should be enough browns [dead foliage cut down after the summer season] to cope with the green and if not, just add in newspapers and other browns.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

All my food scraps and any green waste goes to my worms during winter.
  • I have a wormery that I am in the process of re establishing after killing the last lot and I also 'treated' myself to a 'Hotbin', this is without doubt the best composter I have used, it literaly devours everything I put in and at an amazing rate.
