About 3 years ago I had my bathroom refitted, and as part of this I purchased a number of matching bits. (bog roll holder, soap dish, glass shelf etc).
When doing a bit of cleaning last week, I managed to drop the glass bit of the soap dish totally smashing it.
I looked in a few shops, both online and high St and no one had any of the range in stock, and it turns out that it was discontinued some time back.
Last Friday I contacted the makers (Roper Rhodes) using their online enquiry form explaining the problem and asked if any of the current ranges had a dish that would fit into the metal wall holder and was told that none were suitable.
On Monday morning I had an unexpected CityLink delivery, and inside was a new, free of charge soap dish from the discontinued range and a note saying that they had found one in their warehouse.
They must have found and arranged for it to be sent within a few hours of receiving the initial enquiry from me.
That's what I call exceptional customer service.:T:T
