Is the pc-in on the telly a vga socket if so you need a vga cable and a 3.5mm jack cable from the lappy audio to pc audio in . Tell everyone which telly you have might help4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . On the TV, you say it has PC IN - is this VGA like your laptop? If so, you need a plain old VGA to VGA cable for the picture. Check your TV's manual carefully though to check what resolution it will support over VGA, some TVs don't support their own screen's full resolution over VGA.
That leaves the sound - use the headphone jack on your laptop, and you need to use the connector labelled PC/DMI AUDIO IN on the TV - I guess this is either a 3.5mm headphone jack, same as your laptop, or stereo phono - red and white. Whatever of these 2 it is, is a common enough cable.
So you've got 2 (long) cables to buy.0
