hi guys... we have just moved into a new house and the guy next door has put up a really nice fence but left the concrete posts on my side of the garden.. now i dont think i can dig them out as they are too close to the fence and think it would cause damage so i think my only option is to use a angle grinder and cut them off.. my question is do i need to hammer and chisel as low down as poss then use grinder or can you get a grinder blade that can be used on both concrete and metal..thx

I've found a metal cutting wheel wont cut concrete but a concrete cutter will cut both.0

A club hammer applied to the base of the post will break up the concrete, assuming you can do that without damaging the fence, and then use an angle grinder. Quicker than grinding both.
I found a concrete cutter was very slow, and the disks (Bosch) wore down very quickly. Maybe mine was a crummy tool.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0 -
