My USB Memory Stick Won't Fit

Options
I bought a lovely (pink) memory stick the other day, it has a clip on cover so it won't get damaged and I can clip it onto my keys as it has a strong metal clasp.

All very well .... but it won't fit into the USB port on my work computer because of the plastic fitting around the port and the stick has wide shoulders. It fits into my home computer though so that's not a problem.

Is there something I could buy that would plug into USB port which I could then plug the stick into. Only needs to be about two inches long though so if you could also recommend where I could buy the shortest and cheapest one that would be great.

Thanks

Search eBay for a "USB extension lead". The shortest appears to be 1.8 metres but, if you leave it at work, that shouldn't be a problem.

I got an extention cable (about 10 inches long) that would do in Poundland,
as part of kit with various bits of USB adapters

You could try looking for a passive USB hub - these usually come with quite short connecting leads. Some other makes of USB stick - PNY Attaches, for example - used to come with a short extension lead.

Ms Choc....just came across a smaller adapter that I'd forgot I had when searching for something else. PM with where you want it sent to & I'll pop it in the post. Will fit easily in most girls handbags! Well, it would in my OH's!
