Can I make an offer?

Help please :j

I am trying to sell my property and so far (2-3 weeks) no offers yet

We have viewed a proprerty that we really like and would like to make an offer on it but wondered if:

a. we could (without a buyer for ours we couldn't actually buy it)??
b. if the seller could just say "will only accept once you have an offer on yours and will consider other offers until you do"??

All assistance welcome :D

    b.

They may consider your offers and may even accept (as has happened to us) - but the EA will tell you their property will stay on the market and available until you are 'in a proceedable position' - which basically means you've accepted an offer on your place.

If you can hold your nerve you may even get a better price at that time :D Id say dont offer. We feel like its a source of a letdown to come now they have accepted our offer, because before we can sell someone is bound to come along and offer more :(

Nothing to stop you making an offer. Just be honest with the seller so they can evaluate your offer in total.

Might be worth telling the vendor that you would be prepared to go to bridging finance, if needed
