Successes with Egg?

Hi all,

Hope someone in the know can help -

I received a letter yesterday from Egg to say that they have been reviewing past sales of PPI and they have uncovered some problems with certain sales which may mean they have mis sold me my PPI.

Basically they have sent some forms to complete and suggested 3 options of why the PPI might have been mis sold.

I was just wondering if anyone had any success with Egg or indeed has received a letter similar to the one I have mentioned.

I want success. I have no idea who to write to though?

Does anyone have an address for egg loans? The building in Derby has been sold so surely that can't be the right one?

Egg Loan
PO Box 53678
London
SE5 5FW

Was your loan passed to Moorgate?

I have a complaint pending with EGG. It's for a CC which I used to have. Original letter sent on 18/7/12. Received acknowledgement within about 15 days I think. At this time they also requested confirmation of my new address so sent them an original utility bill as requested. They mentioned they couldn't locate my account. Find that hard to believe with a full name, full address and my old card number. Account closed in 2009.

Fingers crossed they come back to me soon.

Strange that they are now pro actively contacting customers too.

I sent mine away exactly the same day as you 18.07.12 ! and was asked to confirm new address aswell.

I have not heard anything other than the standard letter ... we have recieved your complaint etc etc

I will keep this forum updated - let me know if you hear anything

No, I've never had any dealings with Moorgate

A letter arrived today requiring signature on delivery. Was just EGG returning the original utility bill I sent them as proof of address. They say the paperwork has been forwarded on to the appropriate team now for processing so wonde when they'll be in touch again now. We'll wait & see.

Hi I reseived an offer letter and they said they would send a cheque in 15 dayd after 20 I sent a letter to ask for an update it is now November 5th and still nothing so I have copied the original offer and re sent everything again. Has anyone had a cheque from them ??. It all looks official but begining to worry it is some sort of Scam??
