Just posting this on the offchance there may be a lovely mechanic on here 
Our car has had a problem with the Electronic Incident Warning Light /Engine Management Light coming on at first intermittently and now permanently on...
After many trips to various diagnositic tests we have been told now it needs a new gearbox :eek: :eek: :eek: Over 2 grand :eek: :eek: :eek:
The car is stuck in limphome mode (its an auto Scenic 1998)
Renault have given us the fault code 9G SOLENOID VALVE 3 CURCUIT..
Does this really mean a whole new gearbox or could we get just this bit fixed??:o
