Finally got around to writing a long post last night.. Went to put it up just now [after a final check on spellings etc] and all that was there was the message:
"Your token has expired. Go back and re-load the last screen."
..But the last screen no longer exists - aaargh!

Thanks everyone for popping in - CD and Yours Truly are still puttering on, struggling a bit but not giving up yet..

Divo Three is inbound and Madam is asking for her lunch so no time to try and remember what I wanted to say at the moment.
Will try and get back here later if Black Dog leaves me alone today.

Hello MSEers! :hello:

Fell asleep during the last episode of Capital last night - boo; will have to wait for the repeat to find out what it was all about.
..Rarely watch drama or films these days, because it's so disappointing not getting to the ending. Still hoping to see the last episode of "Les Revenantes" too - although must confess I didn't understand every word as my French is far from fluent.
Looking on the positive side; at least watching TV is effective in counteracting insomnia caused by being over-tired, lol.

Some more positives:
Divo Three dug up the grey-water pipe for me. Almond Two's roots had displaced a bend which blocked it. Fixed now, so now can shower and do the washing.
Spanish van came back from the garage; only one out of three faults fixed - but the bill was cheap! It's safe to drive now, although I've only been out once (suppose the positive here is plenty of NSDs!).

Can't think of much more that is positive, apart from CD obviously being happy to be 'home'. She freaked me out yesterday; left her up the top while I was tackling weeds on Veg Terrace Two, but she must have got bored and come to try and find me. I noticed when our current garden guest - a friendly blue roan stallion who should be on Nasty Neighbour's field but there's no fence - started huffing and puffing.. He and CD were nose-to-nose! Luckily he didn't turn and kick her, although he did try to follow us both back up the steps. He was thirsty - spoke to his owner last night, who said the poor beast only needs water every other day! :eek:
Needless to say he's got a bucketful now - on my land though to encourage him to help me with the weeding, lol. His head-collar is decorated with bells so I always know where he is - when he wants attention he stands at the bottom of the steps and jingles.. :rotfl:

Negatives:
Black Dog bites every time I look at the garden.
Gardener - oh God! ..Paid him four times more than he deserved and now he's deserted me. His Mum seems to think the devastation is funny, and I should have paid G more! :mad:

Spends:
Garage bill - £120
New battery - £55 (hasn't cured reluctant starting )
Groceries total - £130 (includes Xmas jamon bundle for DS3 - he's hosting the feast this year)
Vet - £60 (includes CD's meds and food)
Gardener - £500 (includes £80 float not returned)
