Hello Diary and Dear Friends, :hello:
Thanks for your kind thoughts, Lucky and Dansmam. :T
Well, my beloved snow-dog is still with us, sleeping quietly now in her 'normal' relaxed position which DS4 calls cushion-mode (a tight fluffy ball, nose tucked under tail). Her fever broke at about five ayem, allowing me to finally drift off to sleep sometime around six.
This morning CD watered the grass copiously and managed to wander about on reasonably steady legs for a few minutes, sniffing the scents of other canine passers-by before making her way slowly back to the van, where she curled up in the open doorway.
She's had four doses of GP with the allopathic meds, increasing the amount each time, and I've taken off CD's hated wet cool-coat (for now at least). Still won't eat or drink by herself, but licks water off her paws and the floor near her head when it's sprinkled around her (van has a laminate floor and loose rugs which we removed to help keep CD's temperature down last night).
Am slightly more optimistic today..
Divo Four's three previous employers all want him back [part time] - that's good news too, although he may not be able to take on all the offers as his final year is likely to be quite intense, and college work must obviously take priority.
This afternoon we're heading out to homehome, for a spot of community roof repairing with Favourite Neighbour. Not sure if we'll stay overnight because camper-van is too long for the third parking-space [which isn't part of Tenant Two's rental] and will block the pavement; it hardly seems fair to plonk ourselves right outside the house as it's currently T2's home of course..
No spends so far today, but we're getting low on fuel as well as basics like bread, butter and milk. Camper-van is definitely less economical than m' dear old Trannie, especially when using it as a go-for around town.0 -
Yay to the fever breaking!!Must use my stash up!0

Sending positive vibes to CD x Just awful that a good deed has turned out bad for you. Doesn't seem fair. I hate it when owners don't look after their pets properly. Hope things are better today.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
