Sorry you are feeling so down.
Just wondering if you have any bank charges you could reclaim?0

Just got to the stage of not worrying about the post, and don't wanna start again.. silly i know. I should claim back, but it's more then I can deal with just now.. Hi Kendalls Cave
Have you tried opening up an account with HSBC, they only offer switch or solo cards and solo cards are accepted nearly everywhere now!!
I hope you feel better, you just need to focus on all the positive things that you are doing now.
You ARE paying your debts back and they WILL be gone eventually. The hardest part is facing up to your debts and you have done that, the rest will come eventually and please remember you always have the support of people on this site who have been in similar situations to yourself0

Oh my god u think ur obsessed with money? all I do is write lists of my debts!! my workmates think im nuts.. Im constantly checking my bank balance online!! Ive turned into that slater woman off eastenders!! constantly scamming something to get money. But at the end of the day u could a millionaire and totally depressed. and money does not come with ya to the grave. Just try and give ur self a target date it works well for me sort of a light at the end of the tunnel. Ive got a loose change jar which is working really well. The otha night I was goin to get a pizza insstead I put the fiver in my jar and had beans on toast, Ive also sealed the jar and will not count it until its full!! at the end of the day stick any loose change in there and forget about it. good luck and just remember more than 50% in the UK are in debt by more than 20,000 or something (excluding morgages) thats what I read somewher so ur not doin tooo bad!! *C*Total debt £17,135 total paid off £5250

            Hi KC
I think the obsessed bit is very normal in the begining, it does get better. I'm 18 months in, but I do have to admit I still love doing lists and playing with the snowball calculator. I have stopped trying to convert everyone though lol. Just remember you are heading in the right direction now and you will get there!
Have you had a look at the snowball calculator, great if like me you love printing off charts and playing with the figures.

With regards the impatience, I was thinking about that today, sometimes it feels i'm wishing my life away until we are debt free, but its that impatience that got me in trouble in the first place...having things now rather than waiting, so for me it will be a good lesson learnt.
Just remember we are all in the same boat plodding on and theres always support when you are fed up or someone to celebrate with...any excuse for a drink

you could join survey sites & pigsback to generate a little more money, all online so no need to talk to people/leave the house.
have you discovered the cash-back sites yet? quidco etc. they give you cash back on purchases - everything from house insurance to magazine trails.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0
