new savings account

Hi,

I'm looking to open an account for my DD she is 10. She used to be with the Birmingham Midshires (cos it was local) but they closed & went to a postal account only - this is no good as i want her to save her pocket money to pay in.

No idea which bank to go to  as i do well to stay out of overdraft, forget saving! i'm with TSB, OH is with HSBC & but don't really mind, i just want her to get some interest!! She has £96 to open the account with (so say £100 incase there is a minimum to open the account).

Any suggestion gratefully received.

Thanks in advance,

Lou.
