Freecycle

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is there any way of trying to weed out dealers on freecycle? Got some footy programmes I'd like to go to a good home, rather than just be sold on.

cheers

  • It's hard to tell but when I used Freecycle (I stopped for precisely the reason you cite) the professionals seemed to be the ones who emailed first...

That's what I was thinking! Hmmm, maybe I'll just try and sell them on ebay. Can't be bothered though. I suppose an Everton forum might be a decent place to try and get them a good home.

In some areas there are more dealers than 'real' people on freecycle, mine included. Actually though I don't mind the dealers as I find they do at least bother collecting- the private people I have put stuff aside for tend not to bother and I can't be bothered to waste my time.

Have you tried selling them on facebook selling pages- especially if you are in the Liverpool area? You'll still get dealers, but at least you will be paid for them.

    try

    Toffeeweb.com

    or

    bluekipper.com

may fill a gap in someones collection.

The used to be programme collectors upstairs in St Lukes church on corner of Gwladys street but not sure if its still there.

Looking at ebay - my collection gathering dust in the loft would be worth next to nothing bar say a £5 for the 66 or 68 cup final ones.
