large accomodation- Sheffield

My daughter is getting married in Sheffield in 2014, and I need to find a large self catering cottage/house so that the whole family can stay, rather than booking lots of hotel rooms.

Does anyone know of anywhere in Sheffield, that can sleep up to 20 people?

Many thanks for your help

Jo

If you plan it for the Summer holidays then possibly there is the Uni halls. I'm not sure whether Sheffield or Hallam do it though

Does it have to be central Sheffield? How big a radius around would you consider?

Try groupaccommodation.com, partyhouses.co.uk, the big domain, landed houses or indeed any of the self catering agencies. 20 isn't that big a group, you should easily find somewhere.

Ask to view first and also ask for a discount booking this far in advance. I work for a holiday cottage company roughly in that area and we would give a discount.

you might get a better response on the wedding board - would a board guide be able to assist?

Thank you for your replies so far. If someone can move this to the wedding board as well this would help.

The reception is at Wortley Hall, so a distance of about a 10 mile radius would be good, my daughter lives in central Sheffield so would need access to that as well for hair etc!

Eliza- please let me know what accomodation you have and at what price.

Hmm....... Wortley Hall seems to be Barnsley so our places would be too far really. Looks gorgeous! Will pm you anyway just in case (don't think advertising is allowed on here) but please look at some of the websites I mentioned, they are all reputable and used to these kinds of events.
