Brother laser printer, buy new toner or refill?

Hi all,
I have run out of the starter cartridge on my first laser printer (Brother HL-2040)
I don't know what is best, whether to refill it using a £7 kit from eBay, or buy a complete new "compatible" toner for £11 also from eBay.
Any advice welcome. I am technical but not so hot on printers

to save refilling, get the replacement, take out old, plug in new. less hassle0 -
thanks andy, do you have the same printer as me?
Is the quality OK? Seeing as it's only £3 more than the refill, I think I will go for that to be honest, seems really cheap.0 -
Actually i have a epson SX200 ink jet and before that a DX4800 and I've bought all my ink for both printers through Ink-Power and I've never had an issue with them or their supplies. I did have a issue with the DX4800 though not relating to the ink, 2 problems, 1 was the rollers, epson replaced the printer, and the 2nd problem was a tiny screw where it came from i have no idea, but 1 kept falling into the printer, even when i checked there where no screws anywhere above, either side or beneath, and 1 still managed to fall into it.0
