Thats perfectly legal on a pre-97 license or with a B+E, where the limit is 7500kg (or is it 8500kg?), so a full transit + full 2600kg trailer is fine.0 -
Even on a B licence I think you can drive up to 3.5T vehicle with a 750KG trailer (4.25T train weight)
There are plenty of 3.5T vans which will take well over a tonne payload. Look for short wheelbase as they are obviously lighter. Trailers up to 750KG max gross weight don't require their own brakes but for peace of mind if I was driving a 4.25T outfit I would want brakes on every wheel.0
