Hi,
Yet another post from me.......
I need to buy some white goods, including a range and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for sites. How good are appliances on line for example?
Many thanks again

I've just bought a freezer from m&s appliances, which is actually owned by appliances online, as is boots appliances. They delivered very quickly and kept me up to date with dates and times of when it was coming, and also called an hour before too. Would definitly use them again.0

There is nothing better than going into a store and touching/feeling the appliances to make sure you like them and are happy.
Nothing worse than buying something online then not being happy with it when it arrives.
My advice find something instore you like then go online and find it at a cheaper price!!
Peace out:beer:0 -
We did exactly what agasi88 suggested- and in both cases recently appliances online was cheapest. I've found their delivery to be great (lots of updates, choice of delivery days including saturdays) and can't fault them. The only weird thing we've found with our new hobs and extractor hood is that neither came with an instruction manual, but they are easily available online.0

I bought most of my kitchen appliances from appliancesonline. Not only did I get the best prices but their customer service and returns offer are great. I was a bit unsure about spending so much online so I rang them up discussed everything and asked loads of questions until I was sure.
Delivery-wise - I booked the delivery day when I ordered. But they rang and text me to confirm the delivery date and time slot the day before and it was delivered on time. The delivery men brought the goods into the house as well.
They also offer a 10 day refund guarantee - if for whatever reason you're not happy they will pick the item up and refund it. I had to return a hob hood and it was so easy to do.
Obviously it's a good idea to check out what you're getting in store first but why would you pay (alot) more for exactly the same thing?
I also bought my washing machine from firesandcookers and that went really smoothly too and I saved £200
but they don't offer the 10 day refund which is a bit of a reassurance. 0 -
Why don't you go down to your local appliance retailer (search for Euronics online and find their local outlet), get honest advise, touch and feel appliances and most importantly support a local business rather than a faceless warehouse in the middle of nowhere. You will get comparable prices too. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
