Hi sister in law doesn't work, her husband earns 12,000 per year employed one child in full time ed and overpayment of 1500.00.

Do you think she will get any payments from now on as she has done the calculator thing and it says 3290.00? But she didn't put in the overpayment as there wasn't a box for that lol.

Any ideas please?

She should still get some payments but the amount will be reduced by however much HMRC decide to take off for the overpayment. I'm paying back an overpayment from a couple of years ago but still getting a little tax credit every four weeks.
Just as a matter of interest is there any reason why your sister-in-law can't go and get a job if her one and only is at school full time?

    Hi,
Not an expert, but didn't want to read and run.
    But 3290 - 1500 still leaves 1790

Am sure somebody with more know how will come along soon.
