national insurance advise please

my OH is only able to work around myself as she has to look after our son. she works part time at local club earning around £7000, meaning she pays no national insurance. does this mean that she could be claiming national insurance credits to keep her in line with gaining the state pension and if so what is the best way to obtain these credits

any advise is appreciated:):):)

If she has a child under 12 and receiving Child benefit - her credits are given automatically.

By claiming child benefit for a child under 12 in her name and she'll get NI credits that way.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
