Why has my IP address been banned by Money Saving Expert?

Some ISPs do issue static IP addresses, which never change. However, they are in the minority and most issue dynamic addresses. But each ISP has only a limited ‘stock’ of IPs, so they get passed between customers - meaning you may have picked up an IP address from a different Money Saving Expert (MSE) forum user who got themselves banned.
This happened to me once. My IP was banned, so I logged in again and it was all ok.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
