"To enjoy the benefits of our 1|2|3 Graduate Current Account, you'll either need to be working or have a confirmed job offer. You'll also need to use your 1|2|3 Graduate Current Account as your main account, paying in your salary each month."
So it's not entirely useful for the graduates that are still transitioning from student to employed status.
Is there no graduate account out there with no overdraft useage fee that I can switch to straight away?
Lloyds just sprung the '£6/mnth' fee on me, even though the website says interest and fee free overdraft. And the charge wasn't mentioned over the phone once...0 -

Hi Moby16,
The amount of your overdraft that is interest and fee free depends on your year of graduation. The fee free planned overdraft amounts (subject to application and approval) are as follows:
First year after graduation - £2,000
Second year - £1,500
Third year - £1,000
You can find some more info by clicking here (starting on page 7).
If you haven't went over the fee free amount and so it seems you may have been charged the £6 monthly overdraft usage fee incorrectly, please give us a ring on either 01733 347 007 or 0845 3000 000 (lines are open 24 hours a day). One of my colleagues will then be able to help.
Hope this helps,

Hi all
Ok so I have had a letter today to say that my student account free overdraft is ending in August. I graduated in July 2014.
So I have looked into getting a graduate account to cover my overdraft for the next 2 years however, they require you to have an income.
I do not have an income and probably will not for a while as I am currently a stay at home mum.
Are there any options for me? I cannot afford to pay off my student account and cannot get either Santander or Lloyds account as I have no income. What do i do?
Thank you in advance0 -
Hi All,
I finished University summer last year with a £1,500 overdraft on my debit card - Graduate Account.
I have tried paying it off with Lloyds but they said I am only able to pay off the card in FULL and not part payment over a number of months due to having a graduate account. It costs me £10 a month for the overdraft!
What am I able to do so resolve this? (more than happy to move banks!!)
Would i be able to balance transfer to a credit card? How does it work...
PLEASE HELP!0
