    :eek:
    If I'd have known that this thread was going to turn into some huge argument, I'd have never posted it.

    I did say I was only wondering why they asked for this information, and after the 2nd reply I knew the answer. It wasn't really anything important, I just thought it was strange that they asked this, as it's not happened to me before. To be honest, I'm quite shocked at how this has turned out.

    As some people have correctly assumed, the goods weren't faulty. I just bought them for a project and didn't end up needing them.

    Life is full of little shocks.

    You posted a query on a discussion forum and people discussed it. I'm not entirely sure what part of that is especially shocking to you but not to worry.

    I was just a bit surprised at how heated the debate about such a trivial matter got, that is all.

    If you think this debate is heated, just count yourself lucky that you didn't start a thread about cyclists vs car drivers, or how good/bad Royal Mail are!

    Heated? I think you're exaggerating a little.

    Well Never Enough has used up both his and my share of exclamation marks. I've had to start using semi colons instead;

    Oh, that was a tantrum not a heated debate.

    True heated debates don't include statements like "No you're wrong so there!!!"

    If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

    Nothing like an internet "discussion" where both opposing views are certainly right, and also clearly idiots for having that point of view.
