Spending money for one week all inclusive?

Options
How much spending money do you need for a one week all inclusive holiday? I've never been on one before and wondering how much to take with me. I was going to take 300 euros with me, will that be enough?

If you don't go mad buying presents, and don't eat/drink anywhere else to excess, it will be enough.

We spent about 100 euros. One day car hire and the fuel top up was 70 of this.

That would depend on where you are going and whether you intend to stay in the hotel complex and how many of you the 300 euros covers.

Don't do all inclusive sort of things, but if it's all inclusive what do you need money for as many people then seem to add we stayed in the complex.

If its a good hotel , you will spend very little , I spent less than £25 for three of us , for two weeks ........ basically it was buying the newspaper every day.
But you hear so many horror stories about cheap nasty Ai , where people have to escape their hotels to find a decent meal , and the costs of the holiday suddenly rocket. .

I hope you have not booked a cheap Ai.

i always go all inclusive but never stay tied to the complex. we still have the odd meal out and drinks. we also go on excursions. take taxis sometimes instead of buses to get around. i suppose for anyone wanting to save if they are all inclusive the hotels i have stayed usually provide a packed lunch.
op it depends what you intend to do and what country you are visiting if 300 euro is enough. eg if you are going to ibiza and going to clubbing then no 300 will not be enough, if you want a relaxing week with a few excursions the odd meal, drink out then yes i would say 300 is enough
  • The only things we usually spend on when we are there is car hire and day trips e.g. water parks, zoos etc which can sometimes be quite pricey. €300 should just about cover the week.

try looking up before you go the price of any trips you want to do. that way you can budget a bit better. dont forget airport money and tips. plus money for taxis/travel if you havent pre booked transfers.

You are completely missing the point here, many people, us included do All Inclusive because at least you know that all the basics are already paid for, this is especially useful for families, it does not mean you stay on complex doing nothing but lye in the sun all day, every day for 2 weeks, it means that your spending money can be used on enjoying yourself, not paying for essentials. You will actually find that most people do not stay on complex all day, everyday.

Back on topic, I'd be tempted to take more than 300 Euros, unless of course, you are talking cash and have other funds available on credit/debit cards for example.
