In a couple of weeks time I'm doing a trip from Stafford to Essex.

The route is M6 J14 to M1 J6A, M25 to J28 then A12 to J29.

Can anyone place the supermarkets on/near junctions on the route for food breaks and fuel on the outward and return journeys?

Thanks kindly.

Blimey, it's about 160 miles. Fill up at home and that will do the round trip.

It's 210 miles according to the route planner. Time given around 4 hours. Thought my 10 year old daughter might like to get out and have a walk around, use the toilet and have something to eat. Guess we'll just use a motorway service station.

I'm down there for three days on a short holiday, so thought I'd probably need fuel on the return journey hence the "return" bit on the opening post.

    Thanks for the help.
