IVA F&F Settlement
Options
Hi,
Just a quick question.
I settled my IVA one year in to the 6 years through a F&F settlement
I have received my certificate and I have just checked now (3 months on from this) and our names are off the insolvency register .......wohoo!
What do i do now re clearing up my credit, or can i even do this yet as the IVA will still affect my credit until the 6 year period is up?
I am not wanting to get credit for anything, just wondering if i should be doing anything now.
But my mobile contract is up for renewal in a couple months, what are my chances of getting a contract with another company?! Will my credit still be a big no no for this!?
Thanks
Sadie

Hello Sadie Lou.. Well done
Your credit will be affected for the original length of the IVA, sadly you will probably have trouble changing your contracts to another company and most likely be rejected.
It doesn't hurt to go in and find out don't mention the IVA they will only reject you on bad credit. Maybe use this time to wangle a better contract with your current provider. May I ask how much of a % your offered as a F&F?
Many thanks a best of luckNever make assumptions always ask questions>>>>>;)0
