HSBC Car Insurance charged full policy for scrapped car.

Hello All,

I am trying to obtain a refund from HSBC who charged my Account through the lovely, upstanding and full of integrity future pay.

The reason being is that on two consecutive January's during my divorce they charged my Account for a car that had been scrapped. Needless to say with a new address and lack of details etc HSBC are saying it is my responsibility to prove via the useless DVLA when the car was scrapped. Are there any better avenues for a less drawn out extraction or refund against these people?

Thank you.

all they want is proof that as you say this car was scrapped.
did you not contact them the 1sst ear they took the money?

once they have proof they will refund back minus an admin charge.
Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?
