Any Alton Towers/Hotel Combo?

Hubbys 40th in October and stuck on what to do. Will have only been back from holiday for a few weeks and in that time will have spent a fortune on my daughters birthday and party too. Looking for something memorable that won't cost a fortune over a weekend in this country and thought Alton Towers might be a good idea.
Anyone know where I can look to find a good deal or I'm up for other offers on what would be a good weekend for a 40th.
Thanks

We usually stay at Premier inn / travel lodge / holiday inn for £65 per room max (holiday inn include breakfast and a newspaper) when we go to Alton Towers. Loads of 2 for 1 vouchers around and also checkout their online deals as you get Early ride time then if you are able to get there for 9am. you can buy come back next day tickets in the park which might work out cheaper than buying two day tickets.0

Myself and my boyfriend have been two times over two years (most recently May this year) and both times we have stayed at a lovely B&B named The Beehive which is about a 5 min drive from Alton Towers. Off the top of my head I think it was around £50/£60 each for two nights B&B. The couple who run the place are lovely, too.
Not sure if you were wanting more of a hotel feel but this is always our first choice for Alton Towers!0
