Getting to end of my tether having to look for 0% cards,BT's,risking rejection with each application etc so am now looking for a good LOB card that I can keep long term.
I was looking through some threads earlier and spotted the M&S deal..4.9%LOB.(I assume this rate applies to LOB on BT's done in a certain period and not purchases??)
My worry is that just when I settle in they'll send a 'polite' email stating that the rate will hike to 16.9%....
How do you all feel about this or is there no real danger of this?
Also where could I find out more on this card deal..?
Cheers!

The "certain period of time" is the first 6 months. Purchases are 0% for around 10 months but you shouldn't make any unless you are sure you can clear the BT balance within the same timescale....spotted the M&S deal..4.9%LOB.(I assume this rate applies to LOB on BT's done in a certain period and not purchases??)
Since the offer is for the life of the balance, you'd normally have to break the T&C's to lose it (and it's 17.9% APR typical now).My worry is that just when I settle in they'll send a 'polite' email stating that the rate will hike to 16.9%....
