firstly i must express that i have a new passport which i am not using

am i right in saying that my old pasport is of no use at all now??

it has been officially cut in the corner by the passport office???

the reason i ask is becasue i need to show someone to say i was in another country at a specific date

any chance of if this is possible>???

If your passport is cut in the corner then you cannot travel with it, however i suspect you would be able to show it for evidence if you wanted to show someone where you were somewhere on a specific date.

Is there something wrong with your keyboard or are you a bad typer?

but say i dont have a stamp on the country then what can i do
is it possible for me to obtain a stamp from somewhere?

The stamps used on passports are official - so you will not be able to obtain one elsewhere or get the old passport stamped now either.

Your old passport is just not valid for travel anymore, but if you wanted to use it as some form of evidence to prove your whereabouts on specific dates - it is possible to do so.

Do you have any other documents you could use? e.g ticket/boarding pass etc?
