Where is the cheapest place for passport photos ?

I got 4 passport photos for about £5 in my local high street photo shop. He took a couple of snaps straightaway then I came back 15 minutes later for the photos. Easy peasy.0

My local Morrisons has a machine which does 4 photos for £40

That's what I did - except ours was 4 for £4. They also guarantee that the passport office will accept the photo, and would do a reshoot for free if they would not. They are photography professionals so know exactly what is/is not acceptable so I had no reason not to trust their better judgement.
I did our kids photos first time round by laying them on a sheet and taking snaps, and printing them off, but it is a bit of a faff printing them off and cropping them to the correct size.0
