    So you don't even have any experience of the situation you're pontificating about. Interesting*

    * Not really.

    Yet more leaping to conclusions. :rotfl:

    We had two cats and when they were 18 months old we introduced 2 more. One of the older cats took to them straight away and was no trouble. The other one hated the younger two on sight and it took until we moved house 3 years later (neutral ground?) before she would even remain in the same room with them. Mind you, she's always been a right cow with other animals and even with humans, she hisses and spits at the slightest provocation, so I don't know why I thought she might be nice to two kittens. Anyway, sometimes cats will never accept other cats and the best you can hope for is a semi truce with occasional scuffles. Other times, they can come to be best mates. Usually, it will be somewhere in between but the best you can do is to let them get on with it and sort it out in cat-speak and behaviour and not get too involved. Good luck!

    UPDATE!

    Well it seems a bit of perseverance it all seems to calmed down a lot!
    They do still fight but it just seems to be playfighting, often because ollie has been winding molly up :o
    They are often to be found following each other or in the same room which is good and I'm happy ollie has company for the times I'm at work or out somewhere :T Also he doesnt seem to be bolting for the door everytime I walk through as he has got a friend indoors he doesn't want to leave :)
