Hello my vanquis credit card is on its way and I don't know what my limit is yet... I know if you pay on time every month your credit limit can go up (i think it said every 4 months) just wondering anyone who has got 1 is it definitely every 4 months or has it been sooner for people, say if you pay off the full amount, thanks

I had one (well still have it but don't use it now). Original limit was £250 and paid it on time (not necessarily in full I don't think). 4 months later they increased to £1000 so for me it was 4 months yes but for others I couldn't say....0 -

This does make me smile when people tear their credit report to bits through borrowing what they cant afford then want to know how often a credit builder card do increase's!0 -
I can afford it though so don't smile just yet0

I have had my card for 2 years. Never missed payments, made payments on time, always paid a bit more than the minimum and then they increased it by £1250.00 in May.
The highest balance I had on there was £700.00 because of concert tickets and a new computer.
I have now cleared the balance and only keep it for dire, dire emergencies because of the high interest rate.DEBTFREE AND PROUD!!0 -
Thanks
how much did yours start at and how long was it before it went up? 0 -

I have had a Vanquis card for two and a half years now. I started at £250 and always paid at least the minimum payment, never any late payments or been overlimit.
It was stuck on £250 for one and a half years, then they increased it to £1000 in November last year, then to £1750 in April and now to £2500 this month (just got the congratulation letter through saying that the increase will apply near Septembers statement).
So for one and a half years nothing, then regular increases every 4 months. Try and work that one out.0 -
Had mine for 7 month's. Pay full balance off every month and got increase after this months statement from £500 to £10000
